I really like this place. It takes a little time for your food but it is worth it. I like the tempura shrimp, bbq short ribs and California rolls my wife likes the chicken teriyaki, and the beef bowl

This unsuspecting stand on First in Arcadia is an absolute gem. This is Japanese style diner food if I'm not mistaken. You'll never want to look at sushi again. The food is well prepared, tasty, succulent, comforting. The fried chicken is, hands down, better than ANY southern fried chicken I've ever had. I know, people will dislike me saying that. Nothing tastes from frozen. Oh, and the potato salad is better than your moms. Serious. The food tastes absolutely fresh prepared. O my goodness, try the panko burger thing!!!! I live around the corner, can you tell? To the owners: please don't ever compromise your time and your efforts. Keep it classy as you do!

Satisfying meals. There is quite a variety on the menu. I personally liked the grilled salmon teriyaki dish, the menchi katsu plate, and the hamburg steak. Friendly staff. Currently they'll bring your order to your car in their parking lot. It's not fancy but open air and casual.

A little take out Japanese food joint that former was a taco stand in the decade before, this place makes some of the tastiest chicken karaage I’ve had, very friendly and reasonably priced Japanese food this is the spot. My mom loves this place, I used to pick up several times a week before her passing.

Best take out Japanese restaurant. Prefer it to alot of sit down Japanese restaurants. Must try Bento-ya dressing on salads and steamed vegetables. Grilled mackerel plate my favorite item. Sansai udon with a side of shrimp tempura very good, my comfort food. Don't let the building fool you. Outside eating area only, but always clean. I always grab extra take out menus and hand out to friends and acquaintances. Haven't tried everything on menu only because I have my favorites, and can't resist ordering one or both every time.

This place has the best chicken karaage I’ve had in a long time, so good. The place is run by old school Japanese folks, very nice people. I love coming here to get great Japanese food, very rare hidden gem. I remember this location used to be a taco stand way back in the early 2000s.
